Hello Eric. This is Richard Smith, Chandler Smith’s Father. He’s the kid who was the “Admirer of the Prickly Pear” in the very first “Wannabes” pilot shoot in The Woodlands, TX. He was the young man who you personally tookk behind the camera to show him how the different camera angles were being shot. ( He still talks about that)
We were waiting to hear from someone on the status of the pilot, but I checked Savvy’s website and discovered that it was now on ABC3 in Australia. (Great News) I sent an e-mail to Doreen Spicer via Spicerack Productions, to see if Chandler’s character could be written back into an episode of the newly shot Wannabes, but I’m awaiting an anser. I know she’s shooting in Michigan now. Anyway, I hope to hear an rely from you and I hope you remember my son and who knows….maybe an oppertunity for him to continue to show the world his talent will come by soon.

Hello Richard. They reshot the pilot from the original so I don’t think that one will ever air. Maybe it will be on a DVD some where. I’m just getting this so I have to tell you that I think they have completed the 26 episodes they were going to do. Hopefully they will get to do more at some point but I don’t have any idea when that will be. Continued success and tell your son I said hi.
